Bronzite + Mother of Pearl

The image most associated with St. Anthony of Padua is that of a young friar holding the Baby Jesus and a white lily.

Created with 6mm grade AAA bronzite Aves—deep, chocolate-brown stones with natural golden flashes that catch the light like old bronze. The brown representing his Franciscan habit. Between the decades sit 8mm grade AAA hand-carved white mother-of-pearl lily paters, to represent St. Anthony's purity. At the heart of the rosary is a pure bronze St. Anthony centerpiece. Completing the piece is a pure bronze Sacred Heart crucifix, its ornate scrolled arms and sacred heart motif offering a classic, substantial finish.

Saint Anthony of Padua's feast day is celebrated annually on June 13th, and he is best known as the patron saint of lost items, the poor, and travelers.

June is celebrated as the month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

MATERIALS

Bronzite is a dark brown, bronze-like mineral and gemstone belonging to the pyroxene group, known for its metallic shimmer and iron-rich composition.

Mother of pearl (also called nacre) is the smooth, shiny, and colorful inner layer of shells from sea animals like oysters, abalones, and mussels. It is made of the exact same hard material as round pearls, but it grows flat across the inside of the shell instead of forming a round ball.

HOW TO CARE FOR MY ROSARY

Store it in a pouch or box when not in use. Avoid water, perfumes, or harsh chemicals. For gemstone rosaries, gentle polishing with a soft cloth keeps them beautiful. Wood rosaries may require occasional conditioning with natural oils (mineral oil or olive oil). Rosaries are delicate by nature and should be handled gently.
