Hi! We are the Malones, a family dedicated to spreading the beauty of Catholicism and devotion to the holy Rosary. We hope our passion inspires you to dive more deeply into your own faith. Both of us were born and raised in Wichita, Kansas. Ivy is a Catholic revert, an artist, and a homemaker. Blade is a Catholic convert and an A&P mechanic.
The surname Malone is an Anglicized form of the Irish Gaelic Ó Maoil Eoin, translating to "descendant of a devotee of St. John". It traces back to a prominent ecclesiastical clan dedicated to St. John the Baptist, famous for producing bishops and abbots at the ancient monastery of Clonmacnoise in County Offaly, Ireland. Our family is dedicated to St. John in honor of the history of our last name.
St. John the Baptist, pray for us.
Our Story
2017
Blade and I met at the beginning of my senior year. We started dating right away and I knew within a week I would marry him someday. At this time I attended Catholic school but had fallen away from the faith and Blade was agnostic.
2021
After a difficult and lonely college semester away from home I returned to the Catholic faith through Mary's intercession. Blade had begun to explore Catholicism on his own and joined me as a practicing but unconfirmed Catholic.
2023
After 5 years of dating, we were joyfully married at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Wichita, Kansas. At this time the Rosary became an important daily devotion to me and I prayed it often.
2025
Blade and I welcomed our first child, our beautiful daughter Ember. 1 month postpartum I had the calling to use my artistic talent to create rosaries. Named after my newborn baby, my company EmberHeart was started.
