A meditation on mortality, The Martyr is a petite rosary inspired by memento mori. Deep blood-red 4mm faceted Grade AAA garnets catch the light like votive glass, while 7mm howlite skulls rest between them as a reminder of our inevitable deaths. Solid bronze is used throughout the entire piece: a gothic Mary centerpiece, a finely cast crucifix, and a durable yet delicate chain. Perfect for those who prefer a lighter, more personal rosary rich in presence and symbolism.
MATERIALS
Red Garnet is a deep red variety of silicate mineral (primarily almandine or pyrope) prized for its rich crimson to reddish-brown hues. It features strong vitreous luster, good transparency, and excellent durability.
Howlite is a soft, opaque white borate mineral featuring dark grey or black web-like veins.

HOW TO CARE FOR MY ROSARY
Store it in a pouch or box when not in use. Avoid water, perfumes, or harsh chemicals. For gemstone rosaries, gentle polishing with a soft cloth keeps them beautiful. Wood rosaries may require occasional conditioning with natural oils (mineral oil or olive oil). Rosaries are delicate by nature and should be handled gently.
