This First Communion rosary beautifully captures the sacred mystery of the Last Supper. Featuring 7mm grape-purple chalcedony Ave beads that are reminiscent of the richness of Eucharistic wine, they are paired with 8mm olive wood beads that were hand-carved in Nazareth. Strung on a durable dark brown hand-knotted cord, the rosary is centered with a detailed antiqued gold-tone chalice centerpiece symbolizing the cup of the New Covenant. It finishes with a matching antiqued gold-tone crucifix.
MATERIALS
Chalcedony is a microcrystalline variety of quartz (SiO₂) that occurs in many colors, often with a waxy luster. It includes popular gemstones like agate, carnelian, and jasper, and has been used for thousands of years in jewelry and carvings.
Olive wood is a dense, hard hardwood from the olive tree (Olea europaea), prized for its rich golden-brown tones and distinctive, swirling grain patterns.

Store it in a pouch or box when not in use. Avoid water, perfumes, or harsh chemicals. For gemstone rosaries, gentle polishing with a soft cloth keeps them beautiful. Wood rosaries may require occasional conditioning with natural oils (mineral oil or olive oil). Rosaries are delicate by nature and should be handled gently.
